Local runners achieve personal bests in major races - nile sport

Several local runners have achieved personal bests in major races.

James Arran clocked a personal best of 4 hours, 17 minutes, and 12 seconds at the Brighton Marathon, highlighting his dedicated training.

Kanina O'Neil delivered an impressive performance at the Berlin Half Marathon, completing the race in 1 hour, 24 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Carole and Gary Davis also participated, finishing together in 2 hours, 13 minutes.

In the Rutland Spring Half Marathon, Andrew Fovargue made another significant step in his comeback, finishing in 2 hours, 10 minutes.

Michelle Fovargue, returning from injury, completed the half marathon in 3 hours, 46 minutes, marking a steady recovery.

At the Haughley Festival 10K, Mark Pegler tackled the challenging off-road course, finishing in 1 hour, 4 minutes, and 45 seconds.

The club said: "These achievements reflect the runners' dedication and hard work, with each athlete reaching their personal goals.

"Their performances demonstrate the resilience and commitment of local athletes, each overcoming different challenges to succeed in their respective races."
