Talented Hereford golfer wins World Championships event

A TALENTED Hereford golfer recently took victory in the Daily Mail World Championships event at Villa Padierna Golf Club in Marbella.

Chloe Ferneyhough won her category age group 10 to 11 years over 54 holes of golf.

She held her nerve during two extra play-off holes to be crowned World champion. Chloe plays her home golf at the Herefordshire Golf Club and Burghill Golf Club and attends Whitecross School.  The 11-year-old currently has a single figure golf handicap.

Worcestershire & Herefordshire Ladies County Golf said: “Congratulations Chloe and thank you to all our volunteers who support our girls in their golfing journeys. Look what giving your time and joining together with others can achieve.”
