Min Woo Lee was celebrating on Sunday night as he held his nerve to win the Houston Open. The Australian fended off the charge of Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland to land the title at Memorial Park Golf Course.

Holywood star Rory McIlroy also threatened to gatecrash Lee's party after shooting a final round -6, encouraging golf from the Northern Ireland player ahead of this week's Masters.

For Lee it was a pivotal weekend as he won his first-ever PGA Tour title.

"It's hard, really hard," said Lee, 26, after his win.

"Scottie is a wonderful golfer and he keeps you on your toes. This is my first time being in front and trying to hold a lead. I'm glad I got it done, but man, I'm just very exhausted.

"It was a lot of mental grind. I'm so proud of the way I handled myself."

Behind every great golfer there's usually a great caddie, and Lee is currently working with the one and only Brian 'Bo' Martin. Golf fans will know the name well from Martin's time on Shane Lowry's bag.

The pair won the Open Championship at Royal Portrush in 2019 after joining up for the first time at the Portugal Masters in 2018.. They eventually split in January 2023.

Martin - who reportedly considered quitting caddying - then teamed up with Lee at the end of last year, and they are starting to flourish.

Next up for Martin and Lee is this week's Masters at Augusta, the first major of the 2025 season.
