Ange Postecoglou says Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero “got through the [Bournemouth] game well” and are “both available” to start Thursday’s crunch Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar.
Van de Ven and Romero played their first Premier League games in three months against Bournemouth on Sunday.
The two Tottenham centre-backs could start together for the first time since December 8 against AZ, in what would be a major boost for Spurs with their season on the line.
AZ lead 1-0 from the first leg in Holland last week.
Speaking on Wednesday, Postecoglou said: “They got through the game well. Romero no issues and great to get Micky back out there and he felt good, so both available.”
Postecoglou has confirmed Kevin Danso has suffered a hamstring injury and has been ruled out of the AZ game
Asked how bad the Danso injury is, Postecoglou said: “Hard to say. He felt it right at the end of the game, so we'll see.
“We've got the international break which helps us and Kevin looks after himself, he's a pretty good athlete, so we'll give him every chance to get back. And he'll be pushing for sure.”
Richarlison is back in individual training as he closes in on a return.
Asked how close Richarlison is to a comeback, Postecoglou said: “Probably post international break he'll be there or thereabouts, depending on his progress.
“Good to see him back on the grass, good to get him back in.”
Postecoglou added: “Ben [Davies] is back in, so this is the only change from the weekend. Everyone else got through the game with no problems.”
