A tennis umpire from Glasgow's Southside and a local park venue have been recognised at the Tennis Scotland Awards 2025.
Ben Anderson, an umpire who has served as chair umpire at Wimbledon, was named Official of the Year.
The 40-year-old was honoured for an incredible 2024, which saw him oversee tennis events across the world.
Ben, a member at Newlands Lawn Tennis Club, was the chair umpire for the mixed doubles final at Wimbledon and also worked at ATP events in Glasgow, Hong Kong, and Croatia.

Ben said: "It’s an absolute honour to win this award after 25 years in the business.
"I’d like to thank my family for supporting me along the way, particularly my wife."
Meanwhile, Newlands Park Community Tennis Centre was named Park Venue of the Year.
The centre has become a flagship venue for the area, with 400 family memberships, 100 adult and junior members, and 300 regular play-to-play members.
The centre's programme includes free classes for young players, social tennis, park tournaments, and inclusive community tennis.
Jamie MacDonald, chair of Newlands Park Community Tennis Centre, said: "We are delighted to win this award on behalf of all the many wonderful volunteers at Newlands Park and all the players and members of the community who have helped us get to this stage.
"We certainly couldn’t have done it without them, so thank you to everyone involved for getting us here."
The tennis awards also saw prizes for multiple players with Glasgow connections, including Senior Veteran Player of the Year, which went to Marjory Love for becoming world number one in the 75+ age category, and Tennis Scotland Open Tour men’s champion Ewen Lumsden, who won Senior Player of the Year.
In total, 22 awards were handed out as the tennis and padel tennis community celebrated together at Stirling Court Hotel on Friday, March 28.
