An East Lancashire triathlete is being supported in upcoming races around the globe by a county firm.
Neil Hunter, from Great Harwood, who is set to take on three major European and world championship events in 2025.
Competing in the 60-64 age group, Neil will be hoping to continue his good form in recent years at events in Europe and further afield
To support him in his journey, financial planning firm Questa is sponsoring Neil to enable him to be as well-prepared as possible for swim-cycle-run triathlons and run-cycle-run duathlon events.
The Blackpool firm's sponsorship will help Neil as he prepares to compete in the European Standard Distance Duathlon Championship in Poland, the European Middle Distance Triathlon Championship in Pamplona, and the World Long Distance Triathlon Championship in Pontevedra, both in Spain.
The triathlete won British duathlon championship titles in 2021 and 2022, and secured silver medals at the European duathlon championships in 2022 and 2023.

The European Standard Distance Duathlon Championship takes place in Rumia, Poland, on April 27, and is made up of a 10 kilometre run followed by a 40km cycle, and topped off with another 5km run.
On May 17, Mr Hunter will compete in the European Middle Distance Triathlon Championship in Pamplona, Spain, tackling a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride, and half-marathon (21.1km) run.
He then competes at the World Long Distance Triathlon Championship in Pontevedra, Spain, on June 29, 2025, where he will take on a 3km swim, 120km bike ride, and 30km run.
In September, Mr Hunter will tackle the Ironman World Championship in Nice, France, before his season culminates in November when he competes in the Ironman Middle Distance World Championship in Marbella, Spain.
